Trimbakeshwar
As divine as it gets

A visit to the holy city of Nashik wouldn’t be considered complete without witnessing the beauty and sanctity of the famous Trimbakeshwar Temple. Built in the 18th century by Maratha ruler Nanasaheb Peshwa, the temple stands in the Trimbak tehsil - the land of sages and munis. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has not one, but several colourful stories about its origin. Also, the presence of the Kushavarta which is the source of the Holy Godavari, makes this temple all the more divine.
