Kalaram Temple

A site of great Beauty and Divinity

Over 200 years ago, the Kalaram Temple in Panchavati, Nashik was created with a grandeur befitting the most loved and revered God in India, Lord Ram. Carved in the black stone that gives its presiding deity the name ‘Kalaram’, the idol stands bedecked in ornate jewellery with idols of Sita and Laxman on either side. Imposing, yet beautiful, this age-old shrine is one of the most important Ram temples in the country.
