The Origin of Godavari

The Brahmagiri mountain range in Nashik is where the river Godavari has its origin. It has five imposing peaks and is a treasure trove of wildlife, hidden waterfalls and old temples. Apart from the 500 stone steps carved into it over a century ago, the mountain also has several trekking trails snaking through its dense green forest. Tall, imposing and absolutely majestic, the Brahmagiri calls the pilgrim and adventurer alike, to brave its rugged slopes.
