The Gargoti Museum of Gems, Minerals and Fossils, is as unique as the wonders it houses. The name Gargoti is derived from ‘Goti’ which is the Marathi word for stone or pebble. The museum is located in Sinnar town near Nashik and is the only museum of its kind in all of India and boasts of the largest and finest collection of Indian Zeolite Minerals & Crystals in the world. The museum is a two-storeyed structure and has two galleries namely the Deccan Gallery and the Prestige Gallery which showcase the museum’s impressive collection.
