The richly vivid heritage of Nashik was inspired by the love and wrath of Gods, decreed by the rise and fall of kings, and brought to life by the chisel and paintbrush for the whole world to admire. It asserts itself in the form of fortresses, temples, sculptures, paintings, murals and carvings. Of these, most are well-preserved, some are battered but all remain exquisitely breathtaking. This colossal heritage has stood for centuries and will stand for many more, waiting to be unravelled in wonder.
